It is so good to be back to Chicago. Wondering I am way to obsess big city life.. so good-bye Boston.
It does not mean that Boston is bad, but I somehow hate 'quiet' moment when it the sun went down and I had no idea where I should go since the town kind of falling asleep together with the sun.
Yeah, I was just mumbling.
Both good and bad sides of moving back, but so far I am happy to stay in the place I have lately been familiar. I like convenient transportation, urban (night) life, tons of shoppings and food! Some say you need to trade off with higher insecurity, but I always insist I DO NOT CARE. You can screw up your life anywhere even in the most safety place when you are careless.
Here it has been a month I was back to Chi-town. Things have changed quite a bit in these years, many new businesses rising up. Also, I notice there are couple new shopping places at/around N.Michigan Ave. (Nordstorm Rack, Columbia replaces Victoria's Secret). Excuse my attempt to notice, might be useless, but I have to notice:) Major change is people. Not many friends remain in town as some left the US (we are students, of course) and some are too busy (with life and their kids!). I have little problem about making new friends now, probably I am too old to catch up with young kids because I can't get their joke. Generation crisis??
Anyway, can't wait to go check out the rest of Chi-town. Summer time should be real fun.
